Akwai nau'ikan resins guda biyu da ake amfani da su wajen samar da haɗaɗɗun abubuwa: thermoset da thermoplastic. Resins na Thermoset su ne resins da aka fi amfani da su, amma resins na thermoplastic suna samun sabon sha'awa saboda faɗaɗa amfani da haɗaɗɗun abubuwa.
Resin Thermoset yana taurare saboda tsarin warkarwa, wanda ke amfani da zafi don samar da polymers masu haɗin gwiwa sosai waɗanda ke da haɗin gwiwa mai ƙarfi wanda ba ya narkewa ko kuma wanda ba ya narkewa lokacin da aka dumama shi.
